With a passion for the science and art of dentistry, Dr. Joy earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 2015 and then went on to complete a two-year implant training program at UCLA's implant continuum. Today, Dr. Joy is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a certified Invisalign provider, and continuously keeps a firm pulse with the latest developments and standards to deliver her patients the results they deserve. Moreso, results that advance their overall health and lead to improved self-confidence and self-esteem. 

As a dentist, Dr. Joy’s dental services include everything from general dentistry, implant dentistry to smile makeovers and are molded into her core values on patient-centered care that’s minimally invasive. She believes in treating patients like she would want to be treated, and this is demonstrated through her high quality service and being a supportive guide for patients to make informed decisions about their oral health. Overall, Dr. Joy's philosophy rests on the foundations of integrity and compassion, and not just helping all walks of life attain healthy smiles, but also learning how to maintain them. 

Dr. Joy truly cares about her patients and their well-being, and she takes the time to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and provide them with nothing but transparency every step of the process. Most importantly, doing so within a safe, comfortable, and warm environment where patients can feel relaxed and at ease. This level of commitment and compassion is also seen in Dr. Joy’s active volunteer work within underserved communities both locally and internationally. She believes that oral health is a fundamental human right and is committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic background, has access to quality dental care.

When Dr. Joy is not studying or with a patient, she enjoys spending time trying out new recipes, exploring nature with her husband and their dog Penny, and volunteering at various engagements throughout her community.
